I’ve seen him many times on Insomniac and also in a live performance at the Hollywood Improv I think. He’s edgy, irreverent, and frickin’ hilarious! Though their styles are very different, he reminds me a little of Dane Cook, who is my all-time favorite comedian.

Yeah, Dane and Dave are both very talented. Dave Attell’s live show is really raunchy and offensive. WAY more offensive than anything I’ve seen on TV. He’s a cool guy to meet. He met with a bunch of fans afterwards, signed dvds, posters, etc. If you visit his site, you’ll see he has a hectic schedule.
In his act he commented on watching porn on the tube sites such as youporn.com. He likes facials!

Mr. Iron: When you pose with these mainstream celebrities, do you think they know who you are, or the sort of films you make?
More so, despite the mainstream-ing of pornography, do you think they might choose not to pose with you, if they knew of your work? Does that possibility bother or upset you?

– It depends on the kind of person I meet. Some people, including Jay Leno, have met many different fans from all walks of life. He has met porn stars and just laughs about it.
More so, despite the mainstream-ing of pornography, do you think they might choose not to pose with you, if they knew of your work?
– I can’t speak for anyone but myself. I think most people have open minds. For those with narrower minds, I still think most celebrities can differentiate what a person does from who he/she is. They meet many, many people and must have enough tact to realize it’s all about people wanting to meet them and not vice versa.
Does that possibility bother or upset you?
– Not really since it has yet to happen.

JR: Yes, Dave Attell enjoys his porn. During his act, he commented about how inadequate he feels when he sees the Blackzilla covers. They feature monster black cocks covering faces of girls. He joked that if he did the same, it would look like he was pointing at her eye.
