You make a good point. However, for long-time subscribers who have only had one Spermcocktail update since April, it is reasonable to start to lose patience. Brandon/BrainCash didn’t stop taking our money every month, even though the sites have effectively been on hiatus.
To be fair, Brandon has for the most part been pretty upfront about his delays - and those of us who have felt short changed could have at any time stopped our subscriptions. I suspect those who have stuck around have done so because the porn is some of the best out there; and for a while he used some of the hottest / cutest / best performers in his scenes (perhaps AGSOI w/ Jaimie Huxley, Courtney Simpson, etc was the apex). Hopefully, the quality of girls on LMM lately does not reflect a corresponding drop in standards for CMF and SC…
At any rate, there will come a point when no matter what the quality of the porn is, if it isn’t delivered as promised subscribers will move on, and word will spread that this isn’t a site worth paying for. My honest hope is that Brandon gets things in order before that happens. I don’t think any fans want to see him fail - I certainly don’t. I haven’t posted my frustrations on AdultDVDtalk or other forums. But frankly there comes a point in most porn consumer’s budgets where paying for porn monthly that isn’t being delivered just stops making sense. It’s a simple matter of economics. Maybe those of us who have stuck around this long are already fools, and Brandon is laughing all the way to the bank. I don’t know. I hope not. Brandon has claimed that “Good things have been happening” for a while now. Personally, I am willing to give him a little longer - and hope that he is big enough (no pun intended) to realize that once things get on track those of us who have stuck by him deserve to be rewarded with a period of more frequent updates, to make up for the fallow times.
Sorry to prattle on for so long, but I wanted some of the newer readers/subscribers to understand where some of us “old timers” are coming from.

Totally agree with Mark, I must admit I think that the Braincash websites quality has gone down in quality of late and that Braincash are starting to get a tad lazy, taking members for granted (this is not something I feel Brandon is doing, like Mark says, Brandon’s always up front regarding his output). I have contacted Braincash voicing my opinion but all I received was the standard “we try to cater to all tastes” and actually didn’t address my question of why the quality has gone down of late.
I’ve been a subscriber of sites such as Pornstarnetwork for years and have always rated their sites but with websites such as porn.com and their success, I thought the knock-on effect would make sites such as Braincash work even harder but it seems, to me at least, to have the opposite effect.

OK…it’s time to come clean about a few things:
1. I am such an idiot, I don’t even remember how to login to my blog so I can post what’s been going on. Also, I have been spending time with family and friends. Now, I am in Montreal back to getting work done. Yet, strangely, I cannot remember something as simple as how to login to the blog so I can post. I am replying in the comments section like everyone else. If I can’t even manage that, how the fuck can I be expected to make updates happen…oops, the Achilles heel is showing.
2. I do value the support and plans are in place to make up for lost time. To wit: I have someone shooting updates for covermyface.com and spermcocktail.com while I’m away. I went to europe for one month and failed to do this. It’s entirely my fault.
3. I am not rolling in the money. Far from it. I re-invest most of what I earn into new stuff. Yes, I’ve dropped the ball. Stick with me….or not. It’s a highly competitive industry and no one owes me a living. I do believe that things are turning around. I will no longer be doing ALL the shooting, ALL the editing, ALL the paperwork, ALL the copying of discs, etc. I am delgating things to good people and focusing on what I do best: producing.
4. It’s no secret that my favorite site is http://www.loadmymouth.com. It’s fun and I do everything myself. I love it. Haven’t dropped the ball once on that one and I will continue to nurture it as it grows. Slayer2007: sorry you don’t like some of the talent. I personally enjoy hearing each and every story told by the (mostly) newbie collection of wannabe sluts-in-training.
5. Mark: I hear you, man, and there is no excuse. Like a locomotive going full steam ahead, it takes time to stop. Or, like a big aircraft carrier at sea, it takes a while for the rudder to cause the ship to turn. Yeah, I have had plenty of opportunities to get back on track. I have taken the following steps to change: 1. Getting help with new shoots so covermyface.com and spermcocktail.com don’t fall behind; 2. Getting help with editing to polish some of the turds and apply lipstick to some of the piglets; and 3. Maintaining (and increasing) dvd output so that cash flow can be improved. I will do 2 dvd releases per month starting in September. One per month will refect a mixture of stuff from the sites. I realize that not everyone wants to consume porn via a member’s site. I will continue to spread the word about the sites through the dvds and vice versa. There is plenty of room to grow and expand.
6. I am easy to get in touch with. People can write me personally any time at brandoniron_99@yahoo.com and I’ll write you back. I have a lot on my plate but never so much that I won’t give direct, honest answers.
7. I will attend Internext, too, this year with the Braincash team to network with other web people and see what opportunities there are.

So that’s the state of the nation right now. It will change over time, of course, but please don’t ever think I don’t know what time it is or that I don’t care. I do.

I promise to meet with him and see what’s up with what has been sent to him already. As some of you know, I switched to providing updates on hard disc drives instead of tapes. There was some sort of compression problem that was corrected after a period of time. My understanding is that we now are on the same page.
So that’s it for now. I totally understand if some members have to give it a break and check back later. All I can say is that the ship’s rudder has been turned and a new course has been set.

Sometimes things just take a while. I have a lot of room for improvement and have taken steps to not be in a position where I am micromanaging everything myself. DVD schedules must be maintained. So do internet site updates. I am surrounding myself with good people who can help things along.
On my part, I am attending Internext in Hollywood, Florida, to make new contacts and see what new deals can be made.
There are other updates in the pipeline with Braincash and I am heading to Los Angeles soon to focus on bringing all the sites up to speed.
Starting next month, I go to 2 dvds per month so there will be a lot at stake for me both personally and professionally. There’s no room to screw up so wish me luck!
